"Great staff and great service, from start to finish. Staff was helpful on completing paperwork and providing information of the care my sons and I were to receive. After the exams, we were given the cost of all work to be done. I was given the option of what I wanted done at each visit. They also have a payment plan, which was very helpful. The flatscreens were a bonus if you ask me. I have recommend Mint Dentistry to some of my friends and will continue to do so."- J.Y. / Google / Mar 03, 2019

Dental exams should be scheduled annually starting between ages one and two years old. MINT dentistry offers superior dental care to every member of your family to diagnose conditions and developing problems with the latest in dental techniques and cutting-edge equipment. We try to provide a positive experience for younger patients so it's easy to get them to their appointments and they have a solid oral health foundation for the rest of their life. We also like to help patients of all ages who have anxiety due to a bad experience at another practice. We like to help them feel safe and comfortable during their visits to our practice.
What to Expect
At the beginning of your appointment, we'll offer you a pair of trendy MINT sunglasses to protect your eyes during your dental exam as you enjoy a relaxing massage in a treatment chair. Your exam will begin as your dentist checks the overall health of your mouth while you choose whether to watch a show or jam out with a pair of our Beats headphones. Next, a member of the MINT dentistry team will get a series of digital x-rays to show possible concerns like abnormal tissue and cavities. Using palpating techniques, the dentist will check your head and neck, especially your jawbone and temporomandibular joints (TMJ). Your board-certified MINT dentist will go over your results and, if an issue needs to be addressed, your treatment options will be reviewed. Your MINT team will record your whole health, including any supplements and medications you are taking to see if this may be affecting your oral health. Finally, your dentist will examine any restorations you have, like a crown or dentures, to determine if you need any repairs or a replacement.
Assuming your dentist doesn't diagnose any concerns, then the only aftercare necessary would be to continue a regimen of home oral care, which includes brushing and flossing twice a day. You should also continue to schedule twice yearly cleanings with oral health examinations at MINT dentistry. Most patients only need an oral health examination twice a year, but MINT dentistry may suggest scheduling exams more often for patients with certain oral health problems. If our team does diagnose an issue, treatment options will be discussed and scheduled. As a common example, if we find a dental cavity, we will ask you to schedule an appointment to get a treatment with a tooth-colored filling or crown.
